THE FIVE CARDINALS OF TOWER OF DESTINY INTERNATIONAL BIBLE CHURCH

The five cardinals of the ministry in Tower of Destiny International Bible Church are her Vision, Mission, Purpose, Values and Motto. These vital pillars must be taken into consideration when ministers and workers regarding church growth are making ruminations. These will also determine the most important thing the Pastors need to consider when growing a church; and should determine the direction and activities of the church

Vision:

The Vision of Tower of Destiny International Bible Church is:
Restoring the Destiny and Dignity of man by presenting the fullness of the gospel in love to nations unto maturity in Christ with great proofs.
This is the peculiar assignment God has given the Tower of Destiny International church to fulfil in the body of Christ. It has also been the driving force of the ministry. “Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the Law, happy is he. Prov.29:18.” This vision should inform decisions and drive the activities of every new branch of this ministry. Each Pastor should clearly understand that the vision of the Head automatically becomes the vision of the branch Church.

Mission

These are the activities required to carry out this vision (recurrent and daily activities intended to bring vision to reality).
The mission of Tower of Destiny International Bible Church is:
• Restoring souls through presenting salvation and sanctification in Christ • Creating conducive atmosphere for spiritual growth and leadership through discipleship

• Equipping men with life-skill information, counsel and guidance from the Bible • Presenting people with opportunities to use their gifts and fulfill their ministries and purpose

Purpose

To raise a people of honour (restored in Destiny and Dignity) fit for the Master’s use and ready for Christ’s return.
This is what is used to assess the active implementation of the mission.

BELIEFS OF THE TOWER OF DESTINY INTERNATIONAL BIBLE CHURCH

The Tower of Destiny International Bible Church Belief the following:
1. We believe that the bible is the INFALLIBLE WORD OF GOD, it is the basis for our faith and the final authority on all matters relating to life. Deuteronomy 4:2; Proverbs 30: 5-6; 2nd Timothy 3:16-17.
2. We believe that the God Head consists of three separate and recognizable personalities and qualities united in one- THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST. 2nd Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28: 19-20.
3. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of God, the crucifixion, the death, burial and resurrection. Isiah 7:14; Matthew 1: 20- 25; Romans 1: 4; 1st Corinthians 15: 3-5.
4. We believe in complete repentance from all evils. Ezekiel 18: 21-23; Mark 1: 15; Luke 24: 46 -47; Hebrews 6: 1-3.
5. We believe that justification or regeneration is the act of God’s grace whereby those who put their trust in Jesus are declared righteous in His eyes and free from every guilt and punishment. Romans 4: 3; Micah 7:19; Romans 5:1; 2nd Corinthians 5: 17-21.
6. We believe in water baptism by one immersion as the ceremonial representation of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Roman 6: 1-4; Colossians 2: 12; Acts 2: 38-39. We do not believe in infant baptism.
7. We believe in the Lords supper (Holy Communion) Matthew 26: 29; Luke 22: 17 -20.
8. We believe in sanctification, that it is the work of grace subsequent to conversion of a soul to God that this can be instantaneous and

progressive. Hebrews 12: 14; Luke 1: 74-75; James 1: 22-25; Matthew 5: 48.
9. We believe in baptism in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. Acts 1: 8; Acts 2: 1-8; John 1: 30-33; Matthew 3: 11; 1st Corinthians 12: 13.
10. We believe in divine healing as provided for by the sacrificial death of Jesus. Exodus 23: 25; Exodus 15: 26; Deuteronomy 7: 14-15; Isiah 52: 53; 1st Peter 2: 24.
11. We believe that evangelism is our supreme task. Proverbs 11: 30; Ezekiel 3: 17 to 21; Luke 24: 48-49; Matthew 28: 19- 20; Acts 1: 8.
12. We believe that the rapture, which is the catching away of believers, will take place before the great tribulation. 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18; 2nd Thessalonians 2: 1-7; 1st Corinthians 15: 51-58; Job 19: 27.
13. We believe that the second coming of Christ will be literal and visible as it was during the ascension that Christ will reign for a thousand years on earth. Zechariah 14: 3-4; Matthew 13: 24-437; Jude 14-15; Revelation 20: 2-3; Isiah 2: 2-4.
14. We believe that it is appointed until man to die once and after death there is judgment. Hebrews 9: 27. We do not believe in purgatory.
15. We believe that the great white throne judgment will take place after the millennial reign of Jesus. John 5: 24; John 3: 17-19; Daniel 12: 23, Acts 10: 42. 

MARRIAGE

Definition of Marriage: Tower of Destiny International Bible Church, in accordance with the bible, defines marriage as union between a man and a woman. (Genesis 2:18-25).
18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
Marriage in Tower of Destiny International Bible Church shall be conducted after proper investigation and when the following have been ascertained:

1. That none of the persons are currently or secretly married
2. That they do not have secrete children that the spouse-to-be does not know of
3. That none of the persons have impediments that the spouse is unaware of
   The following should be obligatory:

• The engaged partners shall keep themselves from any form of sexual intimacy until after joining and blessing, by the minister. • They are not permitted to live together until after the joining and blessing. • The marring celebration should be done according to their financial ability without competition • Joining of couples in marriage may only be done by an ordained minister.
